For the TV show Brave New World, this prosthetic was required to double an actor wh also appeared in the scene as a clone, inspecting the smashed face of his other self. The was made of silicone, produced from printed scans of the two performers faces, and applied as one whole face piece.

This is the prosthetic makeup on Ray Park for the surprise appearance of Darth Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story. It was redesigned to reflect the passage of time since The Phantom Menace and illustrate some of the damage done at the end of his last encounter with Obi Wan Kenobi. Sculpted by Colin Jackman, Moulded by Myself & Kenny Wilson, pieces run & painted by Nicola Grimshaw and Applied by Myself, Colin, Nikkie & Martin Rezard.

Created for the second series of the TV show RIPPER STREET, this makeup was worn by Joseph Drake and comprised of a silicone cowl which was re-used for each shooting day, a new pre-painted cap plastic encapsulated face piece each day, knotted hair pieces and upper & lower dentures incorporating a hook to lift the upper lip (courtesy of Fangs FX). Joseph also wore a slip on prosthetic deformed hand and padded undersuit to distort his body shape.

This is the first reveal of the Blanks in THE WORLD'S END after Gary, played by Simon Pegg, gets into a fight with a teenager in the Cross Hands toilet culminating in the teen's head being knocked off against a urinal! The head was a self contained radio controlled animatronic model, with eye movement & blinks, frown, jaw open & close and slew. The mechanics were built by Gustav Hoegen & supervised and performed by Matt Denton. The build video is on the Video page.

"Football Head" Prosthetic Makeup

This was a makeup used in the epilogue of THE WORLD'S END, showing the post-apocalyptic lives of the five main characters. Oliver, played by Martin Freeman, had his head smashed at the film's climax and has replaced the missing part with a football. This was achieved with an artworked polyfoam football section tailored to fit Martins head and Plat-Gel silicone pieces overlapping it for the smashed edges of his "skin". Sculpted & applied by Barrie Gower.

This was a VFX composite shot from RIPPER STREET series 2 using a physical reference model to depict a sufferer of Phossy Jaw, an affliction caused by Phosphorous that affected many match workers at the turn of the century. The compositing was supervised by Ed Bruce at Screen Scene VFX, based in Dublin.

This is a soft silicone body created for RIPPER STREET, of the character "Ernest Manby" who was beaten to death. The head, neck & arms were articulated and the mouth was made to be prised open during the examination to reveal the tongue cut out and gold teeth still intact.

This silicone likeness of Idi Amin's wife was made for THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND. After discovering she was having an affair her husband had her murdered and her legs and arms stitched in place of each other as a warning to other potential betrayers. I poured, assembled, painted and haired the body for Animated Extras.

For the John Landis film BURKE & HARE we were required to make an ultra realistic body of a character called Old Donald. He needed to be fully articulated, to be seen in mid dissection with removable organs and also folded in half, backwards after being stuffed in a barrel.

This is a silicone head of Jamie Sives, who played Ned Stark's right hand man Jory in series 1 of A GAME OF THRONES. During a battle with the Lannisters Jory is fatally stabbed through the eye by Jamie Lannister, which required this head, with resettable fluid filled silicone eye and blood tubing to be made. Sculpted, painted and haired for Connor O'Sulivan.

This likeness of a cheracter called "Paul the Butcher" was created for the film Hannibal Rising. I poured, seamed, painted and hair punched the head and fabricated a stump into the neck for Animated Extras.

In the TV show MOSES JONES a suitcase is recovered from the river Thames containing the dismembered body of a "Muti Killing" victim. The body is also seen later in the show reassembled in the mortuary.

Early in the film BURKE & HARE Dr Knox unveils a body for a dissection class, only to find the corpse is rotten, highlighting the difference in fortunes between Knox and the affluent Dr Monroe.

Created for the BBC drama WAKING THE DEAD, this couple were discovered by builders during a demolition. They were still joined in mummification having been shot whilst having sex.

After the bar fight in the Beehive pub in THE WORLD'S END, Gary escapes upstairs to the residential quarters and is confronted by an elderly Blank couple. After knocking the man over he grabs the woman and uses her as a battering ram to smash the window and escape. This was a lockable articulated dummy with a silicone head and hands. The head was able to light up from within through the eyes and mouth.

This mummified body was created for BBC's WAKING THE DEAD for a storyline in which a body is dried out for years in an air vent before being discovered.

In the film 50 DEAD MEN WALKING the tortured body of an IRA informant is shown in the mortuary. The corpse had to show evidence of having been stabbed with a screwdriver, burnt with cigarettes and sustaining a substantial head injury.

Whilst interviewing a suspect in an episode of WAKING THE DEAD, Trevor Eve's character Peter Boyd is stabbed in the hand with a biro. This silicone replica of his hand was made with articulated fingers and a soft area for the biro to pierce.
